What You’ll Need to Prepare Before Crafting Your Refillable Notepads

Design Notepad Cover
Step 1: Create Planner and Set Size


Click on the menu Create a Planner
Go to Size on the top menu bar
Fill in your desired paper size in the search box on the right menu and click Apply
Step 2: Apply Pattern


Go to Pattern on top menu bar and Apply your preferred pattern from the right menu bar
At the top right, select the Full option to display the entire pattern
Step 3: Remove Widgets and Export


Go to Widget, switch Edit layout to ON and remove widgets out of template
Go to Save&Export and select paper size
Click Generate PDF and Download file

Print Cover with Enlarged Scale


Open file with Adobe Acrobat Reader
Set the custom scale to 150% to enlarge it for the cover edge
Click Print
Design Refillable Notepad Paper
Step 1: Create New Planner and Set Size


Click on the menu Create a Planner
Go to Size on the top menu bar
Fill in your desired paper size in the search box on the right menu and click Apply
Step 2: Adjust Layout and Widgets


Go to Edit Layout turn ON
Click to remove widget on the right
Click to expand widget on the left
Step 3: Choose Note Template


Select Note from the right menu bar and choose your desired template
How to Customize Notepad
Step 1: Adjust Header for Binding


For Header:
You can adjust and customize the header to create a notepad holder at the top, securing the pages together when you tear them out. In this tutorial, we use a 23 mm header.
Go to the Layout menu at the top
Adjust the header for binding at the top of the notepad
For outline, line or grid color:
Click on the color circle of the element you want to change, or directly enter the color code
Step 2: Apply Style and Customize Text


For Style:
Go to the Style menu at the top and choose your desired style
For Header Text:
Click on widget
On the right menu bar, scroll down to the Header option
Fill in the text or leave it blank for an empty space
Step 3: Duplicate Design

To duplicate the design from the left to the right page, simply click the L to R icon located in the top left corner

Step 1: Trim and Punch Holes


Trim the edges of the paper using a Guillotine Paper Cutter
Punch holes at the top of the notepad using a Hole Puncher
Step 2: Create Notepad Cover


Place the cardboard on top of the sticker paper, aligning it with the guide to create the notepad cover
Trim the edges of the sticker cover with scissors
Step 3: Fold and Assemble Cover


Use a ruler to neatly fold the edges of the sticker inward
Place the white sticker-covered cardboard inside the notepad cover
Punch holes in the cover using the hole puncher
Step 4: Secure with Chicago Screws

Insert Chicago Bolts Screws into the holes and tighten them to secure the notepad
