What You’ll Need

  • Paper to print out the Notes Pages

  • Chipboards

  • White Glossy Sticker Paper

  • Rings A6 or Personal Size

Design Planner Inserts and Box

Create new planner

Select template

Step 1: Create Your Planner

  • Create a new planner

  • Choose the personal size and select a template that already has a time tracker and time schedule

Edit layout

Add multibox widget

Step 2: Customize Layout

  • Edit the layout to remove unnecessary widgets and add a multibox widget for a to-do list

  • Change the font size and style

Download PDF

Add empty page

Step 3: Export and Create Cover

  • Download the inserts as a PDF and print them on A4 paper with duplex printing enabled

  • Add an empty page and remove all the widgets

Add hyperlink button

Customize text

Step 4: Design Cover Frame

  • Add a hyperlink button as a frame

  • Change the text to “Daily Planner” and adjust the font style

Set sizing

Step 5: Finalize Cover Design

  • Set the sizing to personal white, which is slightly bigger than personal size

  • Add a sticker to the cover page

  • Download this design as a separate PDF and print it on white glossy sticker paper at 120% scaling

  • Repeat the above steps to create the cover middle and cover frame designs using different sticker papers

Making Planner Box

Prepare chipboards

Wrap sticker paper

Step 1: Prepare Chipboards

  • Prepare all the chipboards according to the measurements mentioned in the video

  • Wrap the first sticker paper around the first chipboard and trim off the corners

Step 2: Wrap Additional Chipboards

  • Repeat the same steps for the second chipboard and the second sticker sheet

  • For the third chipboard, place a sticker sheet on the outside first

Cut orange sticker

Create frame

Step 3: Create Frame

  • Cut the big orange sticker paper into 5 cm strips and combine them to create long pieces

  • Place the chipboards together and wrap the orange sticker paper around them to create a frame

Create hinge

Fold flaps

Step 4: Add Hinge and Flaps

  • Use another orange sticker paper to create a hinge for the box

  • Fold the white flaps of the orange sticker paper to create a frame

Place chipboard

Add inside sticker

Step 5: Assemble Box Structure

  • Place the third chipboard with the orange sticker paper on the frame

  • Add another orange sticker paper inside the box

Punch holes

Attach middle cover

Step 6: Add Rings

  • Punch two holes on the designated area of another chipboard to insert the rings

  • Attach the middle cover on top, and use a needle to make holes through the sticker so you can add the screws

Final assembly

Step 7: Final Assembly

  • Put the rings and close them with the screws

  • Hole punch the front page and the inserts, then add them all to the rings
